Federal Tax Credit for Solar Hot Water

The Federal government offers a 30% tax credit for solar hot water and whole-home solar photovoltaic panel systems through 2019. This rebate does not have a dollar amount cap. The credit decreases to 26% for tax year 2020 and drops to 22% for 2021.
